My name is Yayuk Listian. I am so happy in getting the opportunity to teach Arabic and Religion.

For me teaching religion is not only delivering the material to students but also trying to be a good role model for them in understanding their religion. Achieving good character based on Islamic teaching is the purpose of this subject. As we know that for building this nation, we need good human resources who don’t ignore their spirituality.

Besides, in order to support their understanding in religion lesson and their knowledge, the students also learn Arabic. They are also expected to speak in Arabic, even with many mistakes, step by step they learn seriously.

Hopefully, my students will use religious norms and values as a fundamental foundation in their work. I believe all religions are teaching universal values, so when they apply Islam well, they will get the best in their career. Amiin
